What “Verified” means on Ipile Joint Ventures

A verified property has had its land title confirmed as legitimate through an AGIS (Abuja Geographic Information Systems) search. A verified status means the Ipile Joint Ventures review team has marked the property or business as verified in the platform. Property pages show the recorded verification date. A title search older than six months is flagged for a fresh search.

Developer businesses are verified through their CAC certificate and CAC status report.

Verification confirms the title, but due diligence is still needed. Before entering a joint venture, carry out your own legal, survey, and commercial checks, and ask the review team about the scope and findings of a specific verification.

Questions, answered.

How do I list my land?

Create a landowner account, choose List a property, add your land details, and upload the documents available to you. Review your submission before sending it to the team.

Which land documents can I upload?

The listing workflow accepts a title document, survey plan, deed of assignment, and valid ID. Use PDF, JPG, or PNG files up to 10 MB each. Missing documents can be requested during review.

How do developers get verified?

Create a developer account and submit your business name, district, CAC certificate, and CAC status report. Proof of completed projects is optional. An officer reviews your application.

Who can see my documents?

Land documents are held in private storage and are available to their owner and authorized review staff. Marketplace visitors see property information and photos, rather than private title or identity documents.

What happens after I submit a proposal?

The landowner reviews the proposal and can accept or decline it. You can follow the response in My proposals. An acceptance indicates interest in moving forward; the parties still need to agree detailed arrangements.

How do site visits work?

Verified developers request a visit with a preferred date and optional notes. Landowners review the request in Site visits. An accepted request still needs a final time and meeting location agreed between the parties.

What do the Terms and Conditions require?

Every landowner, agent, and developer accepts the Terms before using Ipile Joint Ventures. In particular, development on land where a connection was made through Ipile Joint Ventures must proceed under an agreement concluded through Ipile Joint Ventures or with Ipile Joint Ventures’ written consent, and parties must not bypass the platform to deal directly. Read the full Terms from the link at the bottom of this page.

What if I forgot my password?

Choose Forgot password on the login page. Follow the link sent to your email to set a new password. Check your spam folder if the message doesn’t arrive.

Can I recover an unfinished listing?

Property fields are saved as a draft in this browser for your account. Return to List a property to continue. For security, files are not saved in your browser; select any files that still need uploading again.
